These are good books and series that i have read. The summaries are there too.
-the twilight series is really good. It is by stephanie meyer and it is a vampire romance. 3 books so far

Similar to Lauries other book, It is about a teenager with a not so good life. Melinda ruined the end-of-summer party by clling the cops and now her closet friends and people she does not even know hates her. It is no use to try explaining it to her parent; they do not know what her life is really like. The safest place for Melinda to be is alone inside her head, but that is not even safe beacuase there’s something she is trying not to think about, something that happened at the party. If she admitted it she would blow her carefully constucted disguise to smithereens. And then she would have no choice. She would have to speak the truth.
-And then the Harry potter series is really good too.

A girl struggles from a traumitizing inceident that happens to her in the summer before high school…when she gets to high school she has no friends and everyone hates her. She never talks.
Throughout the book you see her open up and began to face her demons.
it’s great I deffinatly recommend it.
It should be in the Teen Fiction section of your local bookstore.
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold is a great one..
The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison is amazing. The diary of a hilarious English girl. Very funny books, lots of romance.
So Lyrical by Trish Cook and its sequel overnight sensation. Trace, a teenager who lives with her young single mom, tries to find her dad.
Anything by Dylan Sheldon.
You might like Margaret Peterson Haddix. Some of her books are a little fantastic, but not anywhere near Lord of The Rings or anything.
Anything by Nicholas Sparks.

well, i don’t know how old you are… so these books might be a little mature for your age… but i read the kind of books you mentioned here and i really like Dixie Cash’s books. http://www.dixie-cash.com. other than that, i would just go to a library and look in the same sections as you would find those books in. (the library is better than a book store because if you like the book you can always buy it later, but once you’ve bought it, it’s yours. even if you hate it)
out of the three of hers i’ve read, My Heart May Be Broken But My Hair Still Looks Great is my favorite
also you might be able to find ads for good book you might try reading in Seventeen or Cosmo Girl or other magazine’s like that.
twilight by stephenie meyer- there is no need for a summary cuz these bks are the best (its a series, the 1st bk is twilight, then new moon, then eclipse)
