How Can I Get In The Mood To Write Stories?
I’m going to become a librarian when I graduate from college and I want to do some writing on the side. So this summer I thought I could do some on the side stories that I want to write about. But I can’t get in the mood to write anything. Does anybody have any suggestions of how I can get in the mood to do it?

Something that always motivates me to write is reading a good book that makes me want to produce writing of the same caliber. Read several good books, watch certain movies, or listen to songs that bring out an emotional response from you. When you feel you have the right amount of inspiration, go to a quiet place (free from any distractions) and jot down your ideas.
i write, and i have a major problem knowing what to write about and how to go about making it original.
you need to think of a good idea. find insppiration from another book, a movie, a song, your own experience, whatever. basically, you need to find an idea you love and characters you are passionate about and a plot which interests you. if you have all of that, it shouldnt be too difficult.
if you get stuck writing, do what i do and write whatever you can. most authors dont write chronologically. write what you want to, whats easiest.
