It keeps popping up with the DirectX 9.0c thing. So i followed all the steps to get DirectX 9.0c and it installed on my computer. But the same thing keeps popping up. Also when i press the desktop button for The Sims Life Stories the desktop changes size and everything is enlarged. Its really annoying. I only got it yesterday, and i want to play it.

Your video card or on board video on the motherboard doesn’t support DirectX 9.0c. That’s why you get that message. I hate to tell you but you can’t play the game on that machine without upgrading the video adapter. Not all laptops can play games or can be updated. The cheap low end ones can’t so you may be out of luck.
