Actually, yes. I used to have a roommate who was raised “Christian.” At Halloween, her mother ordered bunches of Jack Chick tracts and put them in the little bags along with candy for trick or treaters. She felt that she could help to save little heathens on the road to witchcraft.
I know she’s not the only one who takes them seriously either.
God save us from Jack Chick and his followers. There are people who take them seriously, but I don’t see how.
Of course, according to Chick I, as a Catholic, helped start the Holocaust. So maybe I’m too evil to be believed. *snicker*
Yes, this place is crawling with people who quote them in their answers as though they’re somehow authoritative. These people don’t seem to care that Chick Publications is listed as an official hate site on the SPL Center website.
